We’ve been reading up a storm in Reception Oak this week, we’ve been on reading hunts inside and outside. 

We've been doing lots of writing using words with the digraphs we've learnt recently; ch, sh, th and ng.

In maths we've been looking at number bonds to 5 using the part part whole model and have really enjoyed finding out all the different ways we can make 5.

In art we have carried on focusing on birds, drawing beautiful magpies with charcoal and we created some beautiful bird books.
