Well done to our super stars this week!
Today we learnt all about the sense of touch. We played a game where we had to close our eyes and describe what we could feel... it was very funny!
Today we spoke about the sense of taste that we all have. We learnt what a tongue is and how it works. We then had a try at tasting different flavours to see what our tastebuds thought!
We tasted sweet, salty, bitter and sour!
We had the challenge today of following some instructions without any pictures!! This was very tricky as we had no prompts to help guide us. In the end, with some help to read the instructions, we all made our very own paper aeroplane.
Today we learnt about one of our senses being our vision. We spoke about how we see things and discussed what it may be like if we could not see anything.
We then challenged ourselves to write our name with our eyes open and then with them closed. What a difference!
Our final challenge was to cut one circle with our eyes open and then other with our eyes closed. This was tricky!
How many different ways can we make 10?
Today we learnt all about the sense of smell. We spoke about how our nose works, the different components and then had a try at using our sense of smell to identify a flavour.
We used some fabulous adjectives!
Today we had the challenge of following pictorial instructions- with no words!!
We found this really tricky to follow but we gave it a good go.
Today we spoke about having different senses. We spoke about what it would be like to not be able to hear anything.
We learnt some sign language as a way of communicating with each other.
