Fun Learning Opportunities and Amazing Nativity Performances🎄⭐️
 

What a wonderful week it has been in Reception! There has been soo much going on, it has been extremely busy but absolutely fantastic to be a part of🤩.

We had our amazing Nativity performances, which the children did wonderfully not once but twice! We were so impressed by all of the children’s determination to be the best they could be, their participation and their enthusiasm in doing so😁. There are lots and lots of shining stars in Reception⭐️.

This week, we read our core text ‘Stick Man’ as a class and had huge discussions about the story, characters, setting and made predictions about what might happen next or what could have happened instead. The children came up with some incredible ideas, what great imaginations they have!🌲🌳❄️

Also this week, we finished learning all of our Phase 2 Phonics sounds! The children have been super open and eager to learn them all. They have been like sponges absorbing all this new information over the Autumn term, which is very impressive👍🏽.
