Week 5
Well done to our Child of the week and our Superlearner!
We have had an amazing week in nursery! On Monday it snowed so we had fun on our snowy welly walks, finding ice, making snow angels, rolling around and snow ball fun! On Wednesday two special visitors arrived in nursery…Jo and Josie…two of Santa’s elves who have already been up to mischief! They climbed in the tree and messed up our tidy classroom!!! I wonder what they will do next week??!! We decorated our Christmas tree with all of our homemade decorations and I’m sure you will agree it looks fantastic! This week we found out about the Jewish festival of Hanukkah and listened to a story of a girl called Hetty and how she celebrated with her family. We found out Hanukkah lasts for 8 nights and candles are lit each night. Some people celebrate with doughnuts so we had some too to celebrate!
