So much has happened this week!
In maths, we have been consolidating all of our learning from this year, there was a lot for us to remember but we did amazing! We revisited even and odd numbers, commutative addition, doubling and halving and reading scales! Wow, what a lot of maths!
In writing, we continued using the book the Lighthouse Keepers lunch as our framework and have written using adjectives containing the 'ly' suffix and the 'est' about those Pesky Seagulls. Bob, Fred and Tom are a nightmare! We also used compound words to plan and write our own Seaside poems.
This week, we also got are arty fingers dirty, we went into the Atelier on Thursday and drew some incredible observational drawings of Sunflowers. We then used water colours to bring them to life. In class, out of modelling clay, we made Seashells. It was messy but a lot of fun!
We had our weekly Capoeira session on Tuesday, we love Capo and are really good at it now. We can't wait to show you all in our end of year performance.
Congratulations to Ruby and Aurora for getting this weeks certificates!
