We had a brilliant day at Lower Moss Wood for our trip! Our guide Ray was very knowledgable about the woods and things that live in the woods. We saw the worlds tallest tree (or it will be in 4000 years!), we found badger poo, an underground lake and danced like a nettle! We fed the ducks and had our own delicious picnic lunch too before a run around in the woods. In the afternoon we went pond dipping and although the rain made an appearance we had time to find some of the creatures that live in the deep! Some of us even fell asleep on the way home as it had been such a busy day! A huge thank you to our parent helpers for coming with us, we hope you enjoyed it as much as us.
