Week 4
Wow...what a week! It has gone so fast...we have been so busy....but also been amazing Superlearners...brilliant Linda Listeners, Coco Collaborators and Polly Problem Solvers! World Book Day, Capoeira, Red Nose Day, PE, the climbing tree and lots of singing and dancing! A massive well done to our Child of the week and Superlearner...they have been amazing at helping their friends and writing their names...not just their first name but surname too! We are super proud of you! We are amazingly proud of all the nursery children...we have so many who are becoming Indie Independents....able to put on and fasten their coats, take off and put on their shoes, write their own name and some other words like Mummy and Daddy, make different letter shapes and some numbers and use the toilet completely independently. Don’t worry though if you are thinking your child hasn’t managed to do this yet...practice is the key...both at school and at home. Allow your child to do it for themselves...encourage finger and hand muscle strength to develop through play dough, painting, finger and thumb games like using a peg to pick up balls of paper and picking up dropped coins.
