Week 3

Look at the concentration!

We have been working really hard learning our story The Little Green Dinosaur. Today we chose a sentence to write. We are working really hard at remembering our finger spaces, capital letters and full stops. Our writing just keeps getting better and better!!

We learnt about what it means when something is extinct, we talked about why there are no more dinosaurs. We then started talking about other animals that are endangered now all around the world. We were shocked that so many animals were being killed for their fur, their homes or just for fun! We made posters to persuade people to save the animals.

We are amazing mathematicians! We have been breaking numbers into tens and ones all week. Working on numbers 11-20 counting forwards and backwards!

We made some amazing dinosaur teeth today out of clay. Using our observational skills to carve out details and carefully shape our teeth. They look fantastic!
