The Foggy Foggy Forest and Art Fun📖🍦🧚‍♀️

This week has been full of excitement and creativity!🔥

On science day, we got to experience an incredible mad science workshop, where we saw explosive experiments and science fun. The children were blown away by how exciting and crazy science can be!🧪

In literacy, we have been looking at our Talk for Writing story, ‘The Foggy Foggy Forest’, learning the actions to the song and creating our own wonderful story mountains to show the plot and characters throughout the story. We was so impressed with the children’s use of their phonics knowledge, they wrote some great captions and drew some fantastic pictures⭐️.

Throughout the week we have been exploring the Spring season (despite the weather being extremely Winter like). The children produced pieces of art work relating to Spring, focusing on the colours and experimenting with colour mixing to create the perfect shades. All I can say is…Reception Oak are most definitely ARTISTS🎨🌼🌸.
