Exploring and being Independent ⭐️🌈

This week we have been adjusting to the routine and learning how to use our resources. We’ve been exploring 2D shapes and finding them in our environment. We cut shapes to make houses and bracelets and we making repeating patterns. In PE we responded so well to Mr C’s instructions he was very proud of all our Lindi Listeners! In RE we’ve been talking about our families, ourselves and what makes us special. We read the text ‘I like Myself’ and we used our window to find words in books. Its been a fabulous week of building a sense of self and finding out what we can do as a class. In letters and sounds we’ve been talking about rhyming words, alliteration funny chants and we’ve been singing songs. We have started our phase 2 phonics, exploring the sound S. Can you think of words that might start with s at home? 
 

As explained in our curriculum meeting, children will come home with a reading book and a pack. If you did not attend the meeting the PowerPoint is posted on our class page.
