Week 2
This week we celebrated Diwali in school, the children enjoyed food tasting, dancing and storytelling. In blossom class the children made ‘Diva lamps’ using clay. The children also used straws to blow paint on black card to celebrate ‘Diwali’. They have enjoyed using flour, water and glitter as a sensory experience and even used this to mark make. In PE the children balanced objects on their shoulders and head. In maths we have continued looking at counting beyond 5 and in Phonics we looked at alliteration.
