What an exciting week in school!
We have all been incredible scientists this week for science week!
In Year 2, we learnt all about the importance of a healthy diet. We talked about our own diets and the foods we enjoy eating from each food group.
We predicted the amount of sugar that are in some of our favourite drinks and were amazed to learn how much there actually is!
We learnt how our amazing bodies turn food into energy and what happens to our bodies when we exercise.
I think we all might think a bit more carefully about what we eat and drink. Although, we all agreed, it's okay to have a treat :)
