Week 2

This week, we have been learning our new talk for writing actions for our story 'Little Red Riding Hood.' We have been looking at similes and have had lots of fun thinking of our own. Lots of us even challenged ourselves and wrote some super similes at home. We have been recapping nouns, verbs and adjectives.

In maths, we have been working hard using tens and ones to make numbers and comparing amounts. We have blown our teachers away with our magnificent maths and problem solving skills.

We have explored the question 'Who is Neil Armstrong?' We are excited to be learning all about significant figures in history.  In geography, we have been using globes and maps to be able to locate the United Kingdom.

To end the week, we have celebrated World Religion Day. We spoke about lots of different religions and the religions in our class. We also explored India and using our knowledge of Andy Warhol to create Pop Art inspired prints of the Golden Temple.

Article 14 - All children have the right to our own religion.
