Happy New Year!

What a fun first week back we have had. In English, we had our hook day. We followed lots of clues and read lots of similes and made some predictions about what our new text might be. Someone even left us a basket of cookies with a piece of material that was as red as blood. Can you guess what our core text is?

In maths we have been working on numbers to 20, we have been counting forward and backwards. We have been looking at tens and ones.

Our Geography question this week is, what countries are in the United Kingdom? We have been busy looking at maps to answer our question.

We had a fantastic fun Friday to finish the week, we followed our design to make a toy with wheels and axles.
