Carnival 🇧🇷 !!!
We had loads of fun dancing and celebrating to Brazilian carnival music. We listened out for which instruments we could hear and some of us even played our own. What a great start to the topic!
Capoeria!!
We loved our first session of Capoeria. We learnt lots of new moves with Akil and even some new Portuguese words. I wonder if we can remember any?
We amazed Miss Barber with all of the words we could write using the sounds we’ve learnt in phonics!
Miss Fisher was back again teaching us our yoga poses. We love taking this time to reflect and relax thinking about all the amazing things we should be thankful for.
Planting the trees of the future!
We planted 2 kinds of trees today - willow and crab apple. We talked about how are trees will help the environment by taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen. We can’t wait to watch them grow!
