Our First Week Back📚⭐️
 

What a wonderful first week back after half term we have had!

In reception, we have been promoting reading for pleasure in all areas of our learning this week. We have started to look at our first core text of this term, ‘Dark Dark Tale’. We initially read the story and then started retelling the story altogether using actions, which the children have loved doing and have eagerly been recreating with their friends in provision!🤩

Also this week, we had our Snuggle Up and Read day, which featured lots of cosy story telling, book appreciation and our Winter Warmer morning☕️. We are so thankful for the support and presence of those who could attend and for your continued partnership in sharing a love for reading with your children. The children loved being able to share their favourite stories with their adults and teachers and being exposed to even more exciting books!✨

We look forward to continually inspiring the children to develop a love for reading and learning throughout the year❤️
