A fab first week back to school this week. We have started a new type of text in English- an information booklet which we will eventually do all about the zoo. In Maths we have been looking at shapes and what a 1/2 and 1/4 looks like. In phonics we have been practicing our tricky words and of course most of us have also completed our phonics mission- well done everybody!i

We have had our last Capo session this week, set up a planting experiment in Science, celebrated world ocean day and also spoke a little about our emotions. 

Next Tuesday is our school trip! Thank you to everybody that volunteered to help out, I have informed the parents that will be coming with us. School uniforms please and anybody that opted to bring their own packed lunch, please can this be in a plastic carrier bag. It is such a lovely experience for the children and ties in perfectly with what we have been learning throughout this year, and will be continuing to learn about.
