Updates from the Headteacher

Welcome to our website. I hope you enjoy looking at all the wonderful things we do at Moss Park Infant School.

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school. If you would like to book an appointment to look around, please do so by contacting the school office. 0161 864 3636.

Over the past few years we have worked so hard to develop a wonderful learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.

We truly believe that children learn best when immersed in wonderful learning environments, which promote questioning, provocation, challenge and are stimulating. Encouraging children to learn with all their senses and 100 languages.

The one hundred languages is a key principle of the Reggio inspired approach to learning. It refers to communication and emphasizes the importance of providing children with one hundred ways to share their thinking of the world around them.

The pictures are just a snapshot of what we offer. You need to come and visit to see our school for yourself.

World Book Week 2020

We had such a wonderful world book week, there was such a buzz around the school and the children loved every minute. So many ways to engage both children and families with stories and books!

Staff Feedback

Here at Moss Park Infant School, we don't just care about the children - we care about our staff too!  We are always looking for ways to improve staff well-being and ensure everyone has a voice.  Happy staff = happy children!

We recently asked all staff to complete a questionnaire and as you can see from the results and comments below, it's fair to say we have a very happy team...!

Parent focus group met on Wednesday 2/3/16 and we had some great ideas and ways of moving the school forward. If you would like to join in with the discussions please come along, the next meeting will be Wednesday 20th April 2016 @ 5pm in the school hall.

We are SO grateful to all our parents who have contributed towards the family learning week, which begins 25th April . We want the children to have an amazingly creative experience. We have booked den building days throughout the week, which is costing £1400 (this is for all 232 children to participate)

We are asking for a small donation of £4 per child to help towards the cost. Please pop you donations to the school office. As you know we have an incredibly small budget as a school, however we want to continue to provide these fabulous experiences for your children.
