Well done Bichr! Our VIP this week.

Kye's been found! Mrs Butler is extremely happy!

Manchester Dogs Home came to talk to us in assembly today. They brought Percy the Pug to see us. As a school we raised £140.62 to help support the dogs at the dogs home.

Today we were forensic scientists. We really enjoyed trying to work out who stole the dog using all the different clues to help us.

Sam, Rosy her dog and Steph her friend visited school today...

Rosy is a trained guide dog for the Blind. Her owner is Sam and they both came to school today with their friend Steph to tell us all about a guide dog working with a blind person. All three ladies were very special and shared some very amazing facts with us. Many many thanks to Sam, Steph and Rosy for giving us their time and sharing their amazing experiences.

PC Dave and Ruby came to visit school today. What an amazing and clever police dog!

Stretford Street Detectives

21/2/1/2017

Today all the children in Year 2, accompanied by our wonderful Mums, set off on a search through Stretford , looking for familiar buildings and special places. We left school on Moss Park Road and turned left to go down Manor Rd. When we got to Sevenways circle we had to answer questions about our local area. Despite getting a little wet on our way back we had a great time, stayed safe together and spotted lots of our friends'homes. Can you remember how many shops we walked passed?

A letter has arrived, who can it be from? Are there any clues on the envelope?

Come and join us as we become Street Detectives around Stretford!

What we will see around Stretford? What will we find in our local area? What buildings and shops are there in our community?
