Spring 2

Have a lovely 2 week break and a very Happy Easter everyone :)

Thank you for a super family learning week.  The children all had a FANTASTIC time.  Thanks for all your support.  We were so relieved to finally find Kye safe and sound!!

Well done Anna. You were this week's VIP!!!

The Mystery Revealed

Family Learning week

We enjoyed making junk model dogs and were very impressed with the end results!

Well done to Millie-another well deserved lunchtime VIP :)

We focused on the country India and article 14-the right to your own religion and beliefs.  We learnt about Holi-the Hinu festival of spring.  We wore bright, vibrant colours or the colours of the Indian flag.  We  enjoyed creating pictures with powder paint, practising yoga and trying Indian snacks.  My favourite was the Bollywood dancing!  What was yours?

We tried out a green screen app.....What Indian landmark did we superimpose Millie in front of?

Look who went to the Holi festival!!

We loved learning about plants and flowers

Congratulations Darcy!

Has your child told you about our lunchtime VIPs yet? One child per class per week gets chosen to sit at the 'top table' on a Friday. It's a great honour! Well done to Kardell who was chosen for great lunchtime behaviour this week :)

Can you guess which characters from Little Red Riding Hood were in the 'hot seat' today?!

We put shapes on the light board and labelled their positions.

It was lovely to have a recorder performance on Friday.  Remember that if you have any certificates, medals etc from your out of school activities, we can share your talents in our celebration assembly each Friday.

Ezel showed us her Taekwondo sklls in assembly.

Well done to Ama-Shanaiya who was chosen as this week's VIP. How well behaved will you be at lunchtimes next week?

Our trip to Victoria Park

Thanks again to all the parents who came to help and a big well done to all the children for being so fabulously behaved :)

Rights Respecting Charter Day

We have chosen 5 rights to display on our class charter.  Have a look at some of our photos below.

Well done to a very proud Neave who was our VIP this week!

Well done to all of you for your fantastic effort on World Book Day.  Take a look at some of our amazing costumes below.  Friday was our Rights Respecting Charter day.  We discussed the Rights of the child and chose 5 rights that we thought were really important to make into a classroom display.  Ask your child if they can remember what they were.

Well done James for making it to the VIP table this week

Who will it be next week?

How would Ravi Respecter  behave? Can you be the best you can be at lunchtimes?

Are you ready to explore The Enchanted Woodland? Get ready for our exciting new topic.  Who knows what adventures we may have!! Have you read any books about pixies, goblins or fairies?  I'd love you to bring some in.
