Capoeira. We've had our first lesson today in the Brazilian martial arts/dance/music. It was so much fun as we learned to control our bodies; focus our minds; and develop our skills in movement.

Italian day has been a blast. We've learnt lots of interesting facts about Italy, eating some yummy food. Did you know that each colour on the Italian flag has a meaning?

We are into our second week of gymnastics. Definitely looking at some of the next Olympic champions.

Comparing numbers can be a tricky job. But check out us! We are using lots of different representations of numbers and comparing. We used our reasoning skills to talk to each other and discuss our maths.

We will never get lost again. We made our treasure island, took a birds-eye view picture and tried to draw it. We learnt about using a key.

Have ago at playing this game. Can you remember the rules for making a past tense word? If it is a long vowel sound you just add 'ed'. If it's a short vowel sound then double the last letter and add 'ed'.

Even more super maths work this week. We can partition numbers into 10s and 1s. We can also move the tens to make different number sentences!

Maths has been a load of fun this week. We've concentrated on our reasoning and language skills to represent number in lots of different ways. Who thought one number could be so interesting?
