Meet our two naughty elves on the shelf Eric and Erica. They have been up to mischief and mayhem all week. First they threw all the toys on the floor, then they dragged the toilet roll out of the toilets and wrapped themselves in it. They decorated each other with baubles and tinsel and then today we found all the advent chocolates had been eaten!! Soooo cheeky, what will they have done over the weekend?
Wow! So much Christmassy fun this week, putting the tree up, dressing up, not to mention our surprise creations to bring home.
🎅🏻 🎄
Look at how busy we have been this week, phonics, maths, writing, reading, painting, jigsaws, construction and outdoor learning as well. No wonder we are all so tired at the end of the week!!!
Our welly walk this week was very interesting, we went to watch ‘Cool Canvas’ who are working on a new natural outdoor play area in the big playground. There is a huge tree for climbing on that was being smoothed down and what looks like a wooden den, it’s all very exciting and we can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s finished!
Well done Alfie and Rohan for being this weeks children of the week!
Our PE this week was amazingly good fun. Our PE coach taught us lots of different balances, which we tried and did really well.
Fun on Welly Wednesday playing parachute games to keep us warm.
Parents just a gentle reminder about bringing wellies in a bag on Wednesdays we put them on independently every week and enjoy a walk or an activity!

Thank you for all your contributions.
What a fantastic day, Pudsey biscuits, Pudsey puppets and a visit from Marshall. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Welly Walk Wednesday with our Lindi Listener ears on. We could hear lots of environmental sounds when we were very quiet. We heard birds, aeroplanes, cars and leaves blowing down from the trees.
Congratulations to Aiden and Alex for getting their certificates this week.
Well done to you both!

We had an amazing day learning all about Diwali and enjoying all the fun activities. We tried Bollywood dancing, made rangoli patterns and diva making. Even our welly walk was Diwali themed!
Look at all of our Coco Collaborators, working together in the different areas of our Nursery.
Congratulations to Florence and Zainab on their certificates this week!
We made poppies in remembrance and shared them with Year 2 for their topic. Have a look at their class page for more information on this.
PE this week was all about balancing in different ways.
Jam sandwiches for our picnic on the moon Mmmmm!
Our classroom has so many new areas for us to choose from. We have a ‘Whatever Next’ small world where we can retell the story as well as a small world with astronauts, space ships, moon rocks and moon dust. Outside is a super role play area where we can use our imagination and pretend to be on the moon just like baby bear.
Look at our amazing space helmets!
We really enjoyed our trip to the moon on Wednesday, we had a picnic of jam sandwiches and talked about rockets, space and the story ‘Whatever Next’
Our next topic is ‘Who Stole the Sun’ our Talk for Writing text is ‘Whatever Next’
Look at our amazing continuous provision, so much for the children to enjoy and learn from.
We can not wait to enjoy our new topic!
