Why is my world wonderful?

In Autumn we will be diving into... 'Why is my world wonderful?' A brilliant question to explore when exploring a new environment. Children will learn about themselves and their new friends as we focus on settling in to a new school and community. 

We will celebrate our similarities and our differences and how special we all are. The children will have the opportunity to share their 'All about me' bags and introduce themselves to their new teachers and friends. We will talk about the best part of me and what makes me unique. 

We will introduce the children to the 'Super Learners' the expectations in school and we will explore our environment to support learning. 

We will be exploring books about families and reading our core text 'I like myself' by Karen Beaumont. As always, we will read an abundance of books for pleasure.
