The Foggy Forest continues ...
We are so impressed with Receptions amazing sentences and labelling this week, we’re starting to see children independently use finger spaces and full stops in their writing and reading writing back. In Maths, children have consolidated the vocabulary of more or less and they have carried out surveys with their families. Reception have blown us away with their independence to add and subtract numbers.
The learning beyond the classroom has been magical, a focus on children’s mental health and well-being all around us. We have loved the text the Colour Monster, expressing our feelings through yoga and drama. We finished our week listening to the school council sharing their ideas about our first ‘NO SCREEN’ day. We have discussed our right to relax and play and we engaged in some well-being activities with our families and in school. You can view this mini assembly on our Seesaw page. We hope you have a lovely well-being day and we will see you on Monday.
