We have had a super week in Reception!
In maths we have been finding ways of making 5 and we explored 10 using our 'part-part-whole' frames - we even used some big hoops as our frames outside!
We made our very own character spoons in literacy and wrote a sentence about the characters from the Little Red Riding Hood story. We have loved role playing the characters and we talked about how the characters were feeling. We have turned our hobbit into the Little Red Riding Hood cottage where we get to dress up as many different characters to make up our own stories.
Next week we are going to be learning about the Christian celebration Easter and we have lots of fun things planned!
On Tuesday (weather permitting) we will be having a Spring picnic with hot cross buns!
We will be sharing a video express with parents that will include Spring songs and some pieces of the wonderful work children have produced this half term - we will be sure to text all parents when this video is ready to view on the website!
And of course, it wouldn't be Easter without an Easter Egg hunt!
