Our Winter Wonderland continues...
This week we opened our curtains to a beautiful blanket of snow! The weather changes have certainly ignited us, especially in Science, Art and in our Writing. We have explored winter vocabulary and used these words to form some simple sentences. The snow day was very exciting, we made snow angels, snowmen and we painted the snow in cold icy colours.
Our Art session exploring Goergia O'Keefe has been very relaxing, we can't wait to see everyone's creativity on Seesaw. Next week we will continue to explore our chosen artist, looking closely at beautiful colours Georgia used in flowers. We will also be drawing settings such as forests and woodlands using charcoal to set the scene. Our loose parts Art has really motivated us to think about how we can use resources around our home and the classroom to be creative.
Did you know ‘EVERY CHILD IS AN ARTIST’ at Moss Park?
It's been so lovely to see our home learners on zoom daily and we seem to be in a very good routine now. We are trialling some motivating games, phonics and topic hunts to engage children.
So far so good!
Below we have shared our wonderful memories from Seesaw and in school, where ALL our children are reaching for the stars.
