Together Again! 
 

What a joy it’s been to welcome ALL of our class back! This week we have been looking at a flower that we are seeing pop up all over the place: The Daffodil! We have labelled the different parts of the Daffodil with our amazing writing.

We have continued to explore the story of 'The Little Red Hen' and know it so well now - next week we are going to make our own characters using wooden spoons!

We are learning the songs 'Spring is Here' and 'and the actions to match them.

In maths we have begun exploring number bonds to 5 and addition beyond 5. We have used 10 frames to find different ways of making 5 and 10 with chicks! Next week we will be using part part whole frames.

We LOVED celebrating a belated World Book Day on Thursday! Everyone looked amazing in their costumes and we read the whole school focus book 'The Book with No Pictures' - this inspired us to use our phonics to write some VERY silly

words. 

 We look forward to another fun filled week next week!
